What is Talktime Transfer™?

Talktime Transfer™ is a service that allows customers with tenure more than 3 months and above to transfer talktime credit from one Prepaid account to another.

Note: Only selected rate plans can perform Talktime Transfer. For example, Digi Smart Prepaid is not allowed to perform Talktime Transfer service

How can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit?

You can use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit from your Digi Prepaid™ account to another Digi Prepaid™ account using your phone by dialling UMB *128#.

Can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer credit to a non-Digi Prepaid account?

No. Talktime Transfer™ can only be used to make credit transfers to Digi Prepaid™ accounts. You cannot make credit transfers to non-Digi Prepaid accounts.

Can I use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer or receive credit when I am roaming?

Yes. As long as you are roaming with a Digi Prepaid™ roaming partner and have access to *128#, you can use Talktime Transfer™ to transfer or receive credit.

Can I use Talktime Transfer™ more than once per day?

Yes, you can use Talktime Transfer™ more than once per day as long as you have not exceeded the monthly limit of RM100.

Will I be charged for using this service?

Yes. A service charge of 50sen will apply to the person transferring the credit (on top of the amount of talktime credit being transferred). The person receiving the talktime credit will be charged 25sen.

Why can't I view all the denominations of Talktime Transfer in the UMB menu?

The system will only display the available Talktime Transfer denomination (Talktime Transfer denomination + Surcharge) based on your available Main Balance amount.

My account has been barred. What will happen if I receive a Talktime Transfer™?

If your account has been barred and you receive a Talktime Transfer™, your account will be reactivated.

The duration your account remains active will depend on how much credit is transferred into your account.

My account is active, but I've run out of credit. What will happen if I receive a Talktime Transfer™?

If your account is active when you receive a Talktime Transfer™, it will remain active until your original reload requirement date.

Example: 
Your account has a remaining validity period of ten (10) days. You receive a Talktime Transfer™ of RM3. The credit received will be valid for ten (10) days instead of two (2) days.
