When and how will the installation date be set up?

If you are signing up for Digi Home Fibre at a Digi Store, you can select and confirm the day and time for installation when you register for the Home Fibre plan

If you are registering online for the Digi Home Fibre:

a. Upon successful registration, you can select your preferred date and time. We will get in touch with you to confirm the appointment for installation.

b. You will also receive an email from digihomesupport@digi.com.my to confirm the appointment between you and the person installing the route

How long does a standard installation take?

A standard installation process takes approximately 2 hours.

What will happen if my Digi Internet Freedom installation is not successful?

If your Digi Internet Freedom installation is not successful, Digi Authorized installer will either try to resolve the issue on the day itself or reschedule another session for installation upon performing further investigations.

Can I still subscribe to Digi Internet Freedom if my house is not within the area of coverage?

You will not be able to subscribe to our Digi Internet Freedom plans. However, you can still subscribe to our broadband plans. Find out more at https://www.digi.com.my/shop/broadband/postpaid-plans

How do I reschedule a confirmed appointment date?

Kindly contact our Customer Service at 016-2211800 or walk into the Digi Store or Digi Store Express you registered to reschedule your appointment date.

Do I have to pay for installation when I subscribe to Digi Internet Freedom?

Standard installation service is free for all Digi Internet Freedom plans but customer will have to bear the costs for non-standard installation.

What is a Standard Installation?

Standard installation will include the following elements:

  • Fibre cable connection from the nearest Distribution Point to the outer wall of your premise
  • Up to 15m of fibre cable from the outer wall of your premise to the modem
  • Up to 2m of RJ45 cable from the modem to the router
What is a Non-Standard Installation?

Non-Standard Installation includes any of the following: Trenching work, non-direct cable routing, underground, concealed or over-roof cabling. Such work must be completed at the customer’s expense and Digi will not be held responsible for the quality or completeness of such work.

Do I need to be present during the installation day?

Yes, you must be present during installation or designate a person aged eighteen (18) and above to be present on your behalf (the “Designated Person”). If a Designated Person is present on the Installation Date, you hereby agree and authorize the Designated Person to sign the Service Acceptance Form on your behalf.
