1.Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam is bundled with a combination of fixed roaming voice minutes and Internet/data roaming quota on top of a subscriber’s existing Digi Postpaid plan. Standard domestic charges shall continue to apply in accordance with the subscriber’s Digi Postpaid plan.
2.Roaming voice minutes included in a Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam is only applicable for roaming voice calls from the Subscriber’s Digi Postpaid line from participating countries and network:-
- to a Malaysian mobile number or a Malaysian fixed-line number (Roaming Call Home);
- to a mobile/fixed line number of the visiting participating country (Roaming Call Local); and
- Receiving call while you are in the participating country.
3.Roaming voice calls from the Subscriber’s Digi Postpaid line to other International numbers (Roaming Call IDD), Voicemail calls, messaging services (SMS, MMS) and all other calls or services are excluded from Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam and shall be subject to separate charges in accordance with Digi’s standard roaming rates.
4.Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam is offered in partnership with selected Network Operators in selected countries only. Digi reserves the right to delete, add or amend the list of participating Network Operators and available countries from time to time.
5.Subscribers shall have the responsibility to manually select a participating Network Operator to access the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam. Subscribers shall bear all charges, fees and/or costs incurred arising from a default/automatic network or systems selection, the subscriber’s failure to select, the subscriber’s error in selection or any other cause whatsoever.
6.Subscribers shall not use the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam for commercial, non-personal or fraudulent use or gains. Digi reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion and without any liability whatsoever to the Subscriber or any third party, to disconnect, interrupt, terminate, bar or suspend the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam service to a Subscriber in the event of suspicious usage, illegal activities, suspected fraud or any other unusual activities.
7.Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam is a monthly subscription following a subscriber’s bill cycle – meaning, the validity period of a subscription shall only commence on 12:00 midnight of the 1st day of the subscriber’s bill cycle and shall expire on 23:59 of the last day of the bill cycle, Malaysia’s Time Zone (+GMT8). However, in the case of a subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam on dates other than the beginning date of the bill cycle, the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam will be valid from the activation date and time and the full rate for the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam will be charged. Any roaming access prior to or after the validity period of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam shall be subject to standard roaming charges and rates. Any changes to the bill cycle of a subscriber will amount to a cancellation of subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam and re subscription of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam after 16 January 2017 will be subject to the terms and conditions and applicable discount under the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam.
8.Any balance quota or unutilised minutes under the monthly Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam shall not be transferable, refundable or rolled over to the next bill cycle.
9.There will not be any refund granted on unutilized Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam quota upon termination at any point of time if you unsubscribe from Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam. The remaining Voice minutes and Internet quota will be forfeited with immediate effect. If unsubscribing and re-subscribing of Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam occur within the discount validity, the monthly discount will stop from the unsubscribe month. Any re-subscription to the Roam Like Home Monthly subject to processing fee as may be imposed by Digi from time to time.
10.Subscribers who subscribe for Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam will need to have an active International Roaming service and at least a basic Mobile Internet/data plan/Internet pass to subscribe to Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam. Your line status must be ‘Active’ at the point of subscription.
11.The Internet roaming service will be restricted when the allocated internet/data roaming quota has been exceeded. Any subsequent roaming usages will be charged at standard roaming rates, on top of the monthly fee. Subscribers may purchase a Roaming Pass to continue internet/data roaming access at regular speed.
12.Subscription to and/or use of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam shall constitute acceptance of all applicable terms and conditions digi.my/rbtc. The subscriber agrees to abide by and be subject to all terms and conditions of use or access at all times.
13.Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam will be automatically terminated if the mobile line status is terminated, at any time of the bill cycle. Monthly Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam charge will still be imposed to the final bill statement.
14.Save for the applicable discount available to the subscribers under the RoamBorder, all existing terms and conditions for the RoamBorder will cease to apply to existing customers of the RoamBorder from 12.00am 16th Jan 2017 and this terms and conditions for the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam will be applicable to existing RoamBorder customers which are repackaged under this new Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam and new subscribers of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam.
15.We reserve the rights without liability to revise the terms, package and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our materials will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam at digi.my/rbtc. For avoidance of doubt, such alteration does not entitle the subscribers to any claim or compensation against Digi (in cash or in kind) for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the subscribers as a direct or indirect results of the act of alteration.
16.All and any changes or amendments to the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam and any governing terms and conditions shall take immediate effect upon being published on Digi’s website.
17.Subscribers are liable for all roaming charges incurred if the terms and conditions under this Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam are not adhered to. To avoid unintended charges, subscribers are responsible for understanding the terms of use of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam or Package and/or to disable Roaming access on their devices.
18.Digi’s standard call and internet/data roaming charges shall apply by default to any roaming call or internet/data roaming access or usage occurring outside of the validity period of the Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam regardless of whether such roaming access or usage was unintended, inadvertent or otherwise.
19.The use of Roam Like Home Monthly / Monthly Roam is subject to availability and terms of access of the applicable Network Operator. Digi shall not be liable for any inaccessibility, interruption, network quality or other network-related problems which may occur while roaming.
20.The subscriber understands and accepts that during roaming, the storage, treatment and transfer of their personal data may be subject to regulations and laws which are different from those in Malaysia.
21.All terms and conditions governing a subscriber’s subscription to services with Digi including the Fair Usage Policy and Privacy Statement (collectively, “Standard Terms”) shall remain applicable and binding. In the event of any conflict between the Standard Terms and the terms and conditions herein, the terms and conditions herein shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
