12.1From 23 January 2018, international roaming service is automatically activated for new register postpaid services (the “Activation”). If you have an existing postpaid mobile service, you will still need to contact Digi to activate the international roaming service before you travel. Notwithstanding the Activation, any Customer or Principal User and / or Supplementary User who wishes to disable the Activation shall inform Digi during the registration of the postpaid service and / or to call Digi’s customer care at 016-2211800.
12.2Digi and the operator of the visited foreign telecommunication services network shall not be liable for any loss or damage which the Customer or Principal User and/or Supplementary User may sustain from or through the suspension/ termination/interruption/loss of or inability to use the international roaming service due to any cause whatsoever.
12.3The Customer or Principal User and/or Supplementary User of the international roaming service shall be subject to all terms and conditions of this Agreement and such other terms and conditions as Digi shall deem fit to be imposed from time to time.
12.4For any applicable Digi services, the Customer's monthly access fees covers only domestic voice, SMS an and / or data usage and any Roaming monthly subscription package. Any additional roaming service usage on top of the Roaming monthly subscription is subject to additional international roaming charges. Please check our website for up to date roaming service charges. Please be informed that some of your roaming charges might not appear on your bill straight away as we have to wait for our international roaming partner(s) to send us your usage details.
12.5The Customer or Principal User and / or Supplementary User is allowed to de-activate the international roaming service at any time via MyDigi App or walk in to any of our Digi Store or call Digi Helpline at 016-2211800 to deactivate the international roaming service. However, you are unable to deactivate your international roaming service if there is any existing valid international roaming subscription
12.6The Customer or Principal User and/or Supplementary User may, at Digi's absolute discretion, be offered a Credit Limit in respect of charges incurred in using the international roaming service and/or international direct dial service.
12.7The Customer or Principal User may request for a higher Credit Limit and Digi may grant the same at its discretion subject to such conditions as Digi shall deem fit to impose.
12.8The Customer shall bear and pay all surcharges, value-added taxes, and any other charges, taxes, exchange rate difference (if any) or such other sum as may be stipulated by Digi from time to time, incurred in using the international roaming service and/or international direct dial service.
12.9Digi makes no warranty or representation that the Customer's or Principal User's Mobile Telephone or Device will be able to utilise the international roaming service. Any inability of the Customer's or Principal User's Mobile Telephone or Device to utilise international roaming service and/or international direct dial shall not annul this agreement or absolve, diminish or affect Customer's or Principal User's liability to observe and perform his/her obligations herein.
12.10Digi reserves the right, without being liable to Customer or Principal User whatsoever, not to provide or continue to provide or to discontinue providing the approved Credit Limit and/or international roaming (IR) service and/or international direct dial (IDD) at any time and without assigning any reason thereof.
12.11The Customer or Principal User shall promptly report to Digi within 24 hours, any lost or stolen SIM Card (including Supplementary SIM Card) or Mobile Telephone or Device. Until such report has been received by Digi, the Customer or Principal User shall be liable for all charges incurred.
12.12For the purposes of these terms and conditions under this Clause, any reference to international roaming service shall include international data roaming services.
