Digizen Home Fibre Plan – available as on October 2020

1. Is the Digizen Home Fibre plan open for all employees?

The Digizen Home Fibre plan is only available for permanent and fixed term employees of Digi.

2. How many Digizen Home Fibre plans can I register for?

One (1) line per eligible employee is allowed.

3. How do I sign up for the Digizen Home Fibre Plan?
  1. Permanent employees will need to sign-in to MyDigi portal and sign up the plan from the portal.
  2. Fixed Term employees will need to retrieve a manual application form from HR division.
4. Should I resign from Digi, how would this affect my Digizen Home Fibre plan subscription?

This is a staff benefit plan for eligible employees of Digi. Upon termination of your employment with Digi:

  1. If the line is still within the initial 24-months contract period, the Digizen Home Fibre plan will be switched to the retail price of the mass plan and your initial contract will be carried over to the mass plan.
  2. If the initial contract period has lapsed, the Digizen Home Fibre plan will be switched to the retail price of the mass plan without a contract.
  3. If you choose to terminate the line, a fee of RM500 will be imposed if it’s within the 24-months contract period.
5. Can I register family and friends for Digizen Home Fibre Plan plans?

No, the Digizen Home Fibre Plan shall be registered only under the name of the employee signing up for the plan.

6. Can I switch my current provider to Digi?

Yes you can. Follow the 3 simple steps to sign up with Digi and you are good to go! Our friendly Digi personnel will reach out to you within 72 hours.

7. Will a penalty fee be imposed if I’m still under a contract with another service provider’s home fibre plan and switch to Digi?

You will need to check with your existing service provider on the terms and conditions applicable for early contract termination.

8. Will Digi reimburse me on the penalty fees incurred if I terminate my current home fibre contract with another service provider?

There will not be any reimbursements or contract buy-back from Digi.

9. Is there any penalty fee imposed if I terminate my Digizen Home Fibre Plan prior to contract expiry?

Yes, RM500 penalty fee will be imposed for early contract termination.

10. Will I be able to change my plan within the contract period (24 months)?

You may only upgrade to a higher speed plan.

11. How do I pay for my Digizen Home Fibre Plan monthly bill?

You may make your payment via any existing Digi payment channels.

12. How will I receive my Digizen Home Fibre Plan monthly bill statement?

You will receive your bill statement via e-mail and/or via your MyDigi app.

13. Will I be able to deduct the Digizen Home Fibre monthly fees from the RM300 allowance for the Work Phone Line benefit?

The Digizen Home Fibre plan is not included as part of the RM300 allowance from the Work Phone Line benefit.

14. How do I set my installation appointment?

Once you have submitted your online registration form, you will receive a registration confirmation e-mail from Digi. You will be contacted by a Digi Personnel within 72 hours to process your application.

15. What if I have not received any email confirmation or any call backs from Customer Service agent?

You may call Digi Customer Service at 016-221 1800

16. Can I reschedule my appointment date once it is confirmed?

You may reschedule your appointment date 3 days prior to the installation date. You will need to call Digi Customer Service at 016-221 1800 to change your appointment schedule.

17. I am an existing Unifi customer (with fixed line) and want to Switch to Digi. Will the fixed line also switch to Digi?

No, their fixed line service will not be available once customer terminates their fibre service with Unifi.

18. How do I check if I have Digizen Home Fibre coverage?

Staff will be able to check fibre coverage in the Digi website.

19. Do I have to pay for installation when I subscribe to Digizen Home Fibre plans?

Standard installation service is free for all Digizen Home Fibre plans, but staff will have to bear the costs for non-standard installation.

20. What is a Non-Standard Installation?

Non-Standard Installation includes any of the following: Trenching work, non-direct cable routing, underground, concealed or over-roof cabling. Such work must be completed at the customer’s expense and Digi will not be held responsible for the quality or completeness of such work.

Digizen on Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre Plans - available as on December 2019

The Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre was launched in December 2019 and made available to Digizens (permanent staff) within the area of coverage i.e. selected areas in Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Penang and Sabah only.

1. Will I be able to change my Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre plan to the Digizen Home Fibre plan?

Yes, you may change your plan upon the expiry of your initial 24-months contract period (i.e. first 24 months upon first activation of the plan).

2. Will I continue to enjoy the rates on Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre when I resign?
  1. If the line is still within the initial 24-months contract period, the Digizen Home Fibre plan will be switched to the retail price of the mass plan and your initial contract will be carried over to the mass plan.
  2. If the initial contract period has lapsed, the Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre plan will be switched to the retail price of the mass plan without a contract.
  3. If you choose to terminate the line, a fee of RM500 will be imposed if it’s within the 24-months contract period.
3. Will these plans be available for Digizens to sign up?

These plans will no longer be available for Digizens to sign up effective from 1st October 2020.

4. If I’m currently subscribed to the Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre plan, will the new prices affect my plan?

You will continue to enjoy the price you subscribed under the Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre plan as long as you are employed with Digi.

Townhall Special Offer 3 Months Free – campaign from 1 October to 30 November 2020

1. Is there a validity period of the free 3 months free offer?

The 3 months free offer will be applicable for eligible employees who sign up between 2 October and 30 November 2020 (both dates inclusive).

2. Will the offer be applicable if I sign up on or after 1 December 2020?

No, if you submit your registration on or after 1 December 2020, you will not be entitled for the 3 months free offer.

3. Will the 3 months free offer be applicable if I sign up on 30 November 2020 and schedule my installation date after 30 November 2020?

Yes, the 3 months free will be applicable if you submit your registration on or before 30 November 2020 and is not dependent on your installation appointment date.

4. How will the 3 months free offer be applied?

You will receive a monthly rebate applied on your first, second and third bill statements, based on your monthly commitment fee of your chosen plan.

5. Will the free 3 months offer be applicable to staff who are subscribed to the Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre plan?

The 3 months free will only be applicable for new registrations effective from 2 October 2020.The Digi Ambassador Staff Home Fibre was launched in December 2019 and made available to Digi permanent and Digi fixed-term employees within the area of coverage.
