Your responsibilities:
Marketing
- Plan and organize marketing initiatives at the region covering sponsorships, events/promotions, product launches, billboards and other outdoor advertising activities.
- Obtain necessary approval and ensure execution of agreed activities.
- Monitor effectiveness of activities in achieving its target/purpose.
- Serve as point of contact and key liaison with event organizer & HQ on all marketing activities.
- Provide inputs and feedback to HQ for effective execution of activities.
- Provide the necessary support to HQ to drive activities at the region.
Stakeholder Management/Corporate Relations
- Develop and implement own region engagement programs/activities.
- Attend the necessary meetings to represent Corporate Relations’ interest.
- Assist to follow-up on issues that impact Digi’s operations at region.
- To assist HQ Corporate Relations with formal/informal engagement activities planned for region (meetings, appointments, visits, events).
- Coordinate and communicate with officials for special events associated with the local authorities.
- To oversee requests for sponsorships directed to region and ensure that the agreed common guidelines/policies are being observed in decision-making.
Information Gathering/Intelligence & Reporting
- To develop and maintain a knowledge base on state/regional economic developments to support HQ Corporate Relations planning.
- To provide relevant, useful feedback or critical information obtained through ground intelligence to HQ Corporate Relations as and when available.
- Monitor regional news, reports and other media sources for relevant information feedback to HQ.
- To update the relevant units in the region with regards to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws/rules/regulations, changes in forms/formats and other procedures to facilitate or smooth the progress of Digi’s engagement activities with officials and local authorities.
- To update Regional Stakeholder Management activities/issues to HQ Corporate Relations in the periodic HQ/region meetings.
- Close communication loop with other units in the region to obtain and disseminate information.
Regulatory
- To act as the Regulatory contact point in the region.
- To coordinate matters with local authorities and Regulatory on matters regarding technical compliance, visits, forums and events.
- To assist on matters relating to report submission, site visit, audit check and other technical compliance matters.
Corporate Communications – Media Relations & Internal Communications
- To assist Corporate Communications on regional events involving regional media (functions, press conference, launches) -Liaise on ground support requirements.
- To proactively communicate with HQ or provide simple write ups to Corporate Communications on events, functions carried out at the regions for internal communication.
Your Merits:
- 4 -5 years working experience.
- Degree in Law/Finance/Commerce/Economics from a recognized university or tertiary institution.
- Those with relevant working experience will be considered.
