You are:

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian laws and security guarding industry
  • Knowledge and experience  of ISO standards and certification requirements
  • Strong Knowledge and experience   in Microsoft applications and mobile apps

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible to ensure security systems at all regions are operating as per requirement; at all Digi stores, office premises, technical sites, company properties.  To support and lead on projects assigned by Head of Physical security. Manage and report on all budgetary and financial activities within the department. To ensure all security operations in Central and assigned regions are at per requirements; manpower, systems and vendor management. To conduct monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc security audits, risk assessment and threat assessment of premises and others entities. To be a liaison with local authorities and government agencies on security matters concerning people, assets and risks to business.

  • To administer and ensure all contracted security systems are functioning and active in the protection of all nationwide assets.
  • To ensure expenditures and financials are managed according to budget
  • To liaise and manage security financials with finance and sourcing department
  • To implement and manage all physical security preventive measures including that of traffic control and the security vetting of persons and vehicles having access into all company premises (wherever applicable) .
  • To ensure the proper functioning of all security alarm devices, access control and CCTV surveillance systems and to take appropriate action to ensure that they are serviceable at all times.
  • Maintain and manage  Digi security machinery according to internal, group and ISO standards
  • To ensure security regulations and procedures are adhered to at all times. Security programs, emergency response and evacuation processes and procedure are carried out in accordance to Malaysian Law and internal requirements
  • To maintain close liaison with other departments, external agencies and local authorities to ensure the security & safety of the company and all staffs.
  • Carry out audits to ensure workplace operation compliance to security requirements
  • Accident / incident investigation. ‘
  • To control and manage security guarding operations and its management
  • Ensure all access systems are updated and kept at a maximum operational efficiency
  • Ensure all access provisioning to manage in accordance to company policies, manuals and procedures.
  • Ensure all physical security infrastructure are functional and operating around the clock or as per requirements

Your Merits :

  • University Degree Security Management/Information Security/ or related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience in related field (preferably).
  • Security Certification will be an added advantage.
  • PC literate with excellent skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Must be able to effectively  use mobile application platforms ( apps)
  • Good knowledge and experience  in security access systems and building management systems
  • Able to use specialised tools for security management ( windows OS programs)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill, able to demonstrate diplomacy in dealings with different stakeholders internally and externally.
  • To attend premise/sites for incident management and containment  after office hours
  • Good time management skill, able to multi task and prioritize workload accordingly.
  • Good presentation skills & report writing.
  • Able to work with local authorities and government agencies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Must have no criminal records or have pending unlawful charges
  • Must abide by the rule of law and company policies at all times
